Monorail, Edinburgh Festival and Bowie Tribute Night!

Nanobots look for their ship at Forton services, M6Monday 4th August 2008

Our Debut single "Hairy Hands" and Why, Robot?" is now available from Monorail in Glasgow. For those of you who don't know, Monorail is possibley the coolest record shop in Scotland if not the world. It doesn't really stock mainstream stuff, anyone in a touring band or just a record fan knows about this shop, lots of rare records can be found here, and Nanobots too can be found there. It is situated inside a pub called Mono in King Street.
And on the 22nd of August, we will be in Edinburgh in "The Tron" in Hunter Square, i believe its in the basement, doors are at 9:30 and we're on at 10pm and its only £3 and you get another band as well.
And finally we will in Glasgow on the 24th August playing in King Tuts as part of a Bowie Tribute Night with famous and not so famous bands/acts.
there ye go, thats concludes the news for today, see you all in the Future!

Hawkfest Was Brilliant! We played we watched bands, ate food and drank booze. Perfect. Thanks to all the Hawkfest Team for putting on a great event, oh and the weather was roasting.

Festival Particle Excitement

Young Nanobots Collective (Oban Sector)Monday 21st July 2008

Nanobots appearance at Dunstaffnage 2008 was a stunning success.
We engaged with the humans at 7.00pm on Sunday night to an immediately enthusiastic repsonse. Visitors, locals and a weekend weary crew exploded with overwhelmingly energetic enthusiasm throughout Nanobots 40 min set. There was bowing, cheering, name shouting, synchronised arm waving, a near stage invasion and a woman from California in a Robot outfit!
Lured into the Nanobots mission tent by the promise of warmth the humans ended with demands for autographs and CDs. Unresistingly they gave their names, minds and wills to the Nanobots collective.
Special commendations and rank to the first namers:
Heather, Hazel, Matthew (b-day boy), Rob, Lisa, Allison, Kirstie, Steve, Brian, Julianna, Andy, John, Eddie and many others who now realise that resistance is futile!
Thanks you all.
Next, Hawkfest! On Friday 25th July nanobots take to the "Time" stage at the Mothership of ALL festivals, Hawkfest 08! There will be such a concentration of cosmic energy at this event that already communications satellites have had to be realigned. Nanobots look forward to engaging with the myriad species appearing there next weekend.
