Nanobots on Sunny Govan Radio Friday 13th June 2008
On Thursday 12th of June Nanobots were on The John MacDonald Radio show at Lunchtime on Sunny Govan. We had a chat about some science fiction and played a couple of our records, and later on that day we got exposure in the Evening Times which was handy as it allwed us to plug our next couple of shows.
the first being a free show as part of the West End Festival and Fete de la Musique at Brel in Ashton Lane, its an afternoon show we'll be playing at 3 and the event in Brel starts at 1pm on Saturday 21st June.
Also the following Saturday 28th of June we are playing the Southside Festival. It takes place in a pub called McNeill's in Torisdale street. Hope to see you at one of those....

Gig- The Beat Club June 4thTuesday 3rd June 2008
Nanobots have been added at the last minute to a show in Glasgow supporting a band called "Metronomy"
It's at The Beat Club it tomorrow Wednesday 4th June and if you write to us at webmail@nanobots500.com and give us your full name before 6pm on wednesday 4th, we will put you on the guestlist, mark the subject heading as "Put me on the List"

Nanobots Invade Festivals Tuesday 13th May 2008
Despite buzzing around like overclocked drones in preparation for our single launch we have still managed to organise some festival action for the coming summer.
Fed up as we were with Glastonbury (imagine having a rock festival on our landing site!) we said no to Michael Evis, so he had to settle for Jay-Z.
Instead we'll be performing our robot-pop at the DUNSTAFFNAGE FESTIVAL on the stunningly beautiful shores of Obanshire on the weekend of July 19th.
The following weekend July 26th, we retro-thrust down to sunny Devon for the space-rock-tastic HAWKFEST.
Actual playing times and details will be posted on the gig page as soon as we have them.
Before that however, we'll be excuterons un petit concert for France's international "Fete de la Musique" at Brel in Glasgow as part of the West End Festival, on Sat June 21st.

Single Launch  Tuesday 6th May 2008
So in about a weeks time we will be releasing our first single. It will be "Hairy Hands" and "Why, Robot?" If your in Glasgow come and join us for our launch party, it will be in Stereo, 20-28 Renfield Lane, Glasgow G2 5AR
Doors are at 8pm.
Not only will it be our Single Launch it will be a Threads of Sound gig, which means it will be recorded live and 2 tracks from each band will be released at a later date (4th July). The other bands playing will be Odeon Beat Club and Miss The Occupier, more info at
